Period Gardens Presentation
The Grafton Garden Club presents Cynthia Dias-Reid from the Willard House and Clock Museum on Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Ms. Dias-Reed will present a slide show on "Planning, Planting, and Maintaining a Period-Appropriate Garden" starting at 7pm upstairs in the Municipal Center. Come and learn how our forefathers (and foremothers) grew their own food and what types of plants they considered essential to have on hand. This meeting is free for members and a suggested $5 donation for non-members. The Grafton Garden Club is a non-profit organization that has members from many area towns. The Club provides scholarships and grants to area schools for the educational pursuit of horticulture. |
