Grafton Garden Club “Tussy Mussy” Dried Flowers Workshop
On Tuesday, October 14, 2008, the Grafton Garden Club is holding a “Tussy Mussy” workshop at the Harvest Community Barn, 37 Wheeler Road in North Grafton starting at 7pm. A tussy mussy, according to legend, is a bouquet of dried flowers from Victorian times, usually made from flowers picked by the roadside. At the workshop, you will make a tussy mussy of your own. Space is limited and there is a $2 materials fee for members of the Grafton Garden Club, $5 for non-members. The Grafton Garden Club is a non-profit organization that has members from many area towns. The Club provides scholarships and grants to area schools for the educational pursuit of horticulture. |
