Paul Rogers Presentation at Grafton Garden Club

The Grafton Garden Clubís Holiday Party was well attended by people who wanted to hear Paul Rogers, one of the premier horticultural consultants in the area, and get his help with their gardening questions. Mr. Rogers talked about container gardening and his slide show of beautiful containers from around the world was ooh'd ahh'd by all in attendance. After the presentation, he answered individual's questions including what to plant on a brand new pergola, how to get a reluctant plant to bloom, and is there anything else that should be done for a prolific Christmas cactus. Six attendees left with poinsettia plants as door prizes. The next meeting of the Garden Club will be February 8, 2005 at Wild Birds Unlimited in Olde Shrewsbury Village at 6:30pm. The Grafton Garden Club, where gardeners grow.

The Grafton Garden Club is a non-profit organization that has members from many area towns. The Club provides scholarships and grants to area schools for the educational pursuit of horticulture.
